Adult Ministry
In Matthew 28 Jesus gives what has come to be known as the great commission. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." This gives us a clear statement of what we are to be about as His church, making disciples. Jesus then tells us how to make disciples. "...baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We are to seek loving and holy fellowship just as God is ever in perfect fellowship. This means that we must be about community, doing life together, going after the heart of God and of one another. Next we are to teach, in both word and deed, all that Jesus commanded, bringing every aspect of life under His Lordship. With so much of life clamoring for our attention and devotion, doing life together is essential and it is the model Jesus set and commanded for discipleship. Our heart for adult ministry is to follow the example of Christ and so produce ever deepening disciples of Jesus Christ who are a visible expression of His reign.

Student Ministry
In John 4, Jesus has a fantastic conversation with a Samaritan woman at a well. In this conversation He exposes the broken heart of the woman who continued to chase after relationships that only ended in further brokenness. Jesus then reveals Himself to be the great lover of her soul, the one true and everlasting relationship that she was created for and that could heal her broken heart, fill her to overflowing and set her on mission. In a world that vies for the affections of our teenagers, it is our desire to lead our teenagers to this same love and grace of God as seen in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see our teenagers so captured by the love of Christ as seen in His cross, that they will be consumed by the mission of Christ and unleashed into the world carrying, proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that baptism is a command given by our Lord Jesus, by which those who have repented and come to faith express their union with Christ in His death and resurrection by being immersed in water in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is a sign that in Christ He has cleansed us from sin, made us part of the new creation and joined us together in His body the church. To this gift we respond in faith and seek to shape our lives more and more to this new identity we have in Christ and are now invited regularly to the Lord’s Table to be sustained by His Grace.
We are so excited to be celebrating the baptism of several Adoration family members Sunday, November 14! This will be a special (and different) Sunday than most so please note these changes:
-NEXT Sunday, November 14, we will be having the entire worship service at Redingtion Shores Beach near Constitution Park. The Worship service on the beach will begin at 10 am so please plan to arrive around 9:30 to give you plenty of time to park and walk to the beach. The service will be abbreviated to allow time for the baptism. Bring your beach chairs or blankets to sit on (and cover up with). Below are some links for your options of where to park.

-We will not be having any formal Sunday School or Nursery during this special service. However, each child will receive a gift (sand toys) from Miss Kathy to be used during the worship service. We are looking forward to having our children be a part of this very special celebration!

-For all of our online-only family: unfortunately we will not be able to live-stream this beach baptism. If you are able, we would LOVE to have you join us at the beach! We will resume our live-stream and in-person service at Adoration Church Sunday, November 21, at 10 am.

-Hot chocolate will be available before and after service. Consider dressing warm and bringing something to cover up with. It may be a little chilly!

-Our Praise team will lead us in a time of worship. Please follow the link below to find the lyrics to the worship songs:
